Biological Pest Control
Greenhouses are optimized for plant growth. Temperature and humidity are usually high. This makes for a great place to grow plants but it also means that pests that like those plants are favoured as well.
Since 2001 we have been using Biological Pest Control to control harmful insects. What does that mean? Through a number of predators and parasites we manage to keep the harmful insects in our greenhouses in check.
We have also been using Biological Control of fungus problems for the last 4 years. This has been done though a combination of the use of compost and application off selected beneficial fungus or bacteria throughout the season.
