38 viewsWe like to make good use of old equipment to do new jobs. This Case tractor from the 1940's has been used as back up for pulling trailers of plants.

Backhoe36 viewsWhen putting in the new waste wood heating system, we needed a new pipe-line to carry the hot water. We also needed to put in some drainage tile. It was decided that it would be cheaper to buy a used backhoe than hire one with an operator. We were right. Many hours were put in by Brian digging and filling in trenches. He became quite good. We now use it for moving wood around and snow removal.

Forklift adn soil towers51 viewsThe cheapest and most convenient way to receive our growing mix, is in these towers. We needed a forklift to handle them. In keeping with our tradition of old machinery, we purchased this relic. It has been working for us reliably for a number of years now.

Waterer54 viewsNecessity is the mother of invention. We are not entirely sure why it is hard to water starts in properly at the beginning. Alex designed this to go on the end of the transplanting conveyor so that every flat gets well watered before being put down.

Rackmobile58 viewsOur plants are spread out over a large area. The rackmobiles hold 4 shipping racks. All our wholesale staff( male and female) become very adept at driving and backing these up.
